Zeke Pike arrested for like the billionth time, dismissed from Murray
Zeke Pike has blown his third opportunity in college football, this time at Murray State University.
Pike was kicked off the team this week after he was arrested following a traffic stop on August 16. He was charged with disregarding a stop sign, failure to signal, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, operating under the influence, resisting arrest, second degree escape and an open container, according to The Paducah-Sun’s Edward Marlowe.
You may recall, Pike and Patrick Towles were the top two quarterbacks in the state in the 2012 class. Pike, a Dixie Heights standout, signed with Auburn, while Kentucky ended up with Towles. What a blessing.
The four-star QB was dismissed from Auburn following an arrest early in his freshman year, then transferred to Louisville where he was arrested and dismissed once again. This was to be his first season at Murray State.
With his latest arrest, Pike will likely transfer back to Louisville.
