Your University of Kentucky Softball team, coming off a trip to the NCAA Super Regionals, kicks off its Fall schedule today. The ladies take on EKU at John Cropp Stadium in a doubleheader. The first pitch to start off the fall season will be thrown at 1:00pm. The second game is expected to start at 3:00pm. Meaghan Prince, Buzz Ray, and Shannon Smith will make their debut in a Kentucky uniform. The next two weekends the team will travel to Ohio to play Ohio State, Wright State, and Dayton. Fall ball concludes October 6th in a doubleheader against Georgetown College at noon.

“I continue to be impressed by the number of our players that make it a priority in the offseason to become stronger and to sharpen up their individual skills,” said head coach Rachel Lawson after the Wildcats returned to campus the last week of August to start the fall semester. “Our fall games will provide those athletes an opportunity to show off how much work they have put in over the last three months. I also know that our three freshmen are excited about the opportunity of showing off their skills in front of their new teammates.”

Admission is free. See you there!
