Willie, Skal, and the Kings knocked out of the NBA Summer League Tournament

Sadly, Skal Labissiere, Willie Cauley-Stein and the Sacramento Kings are out of the running for the NBA Summer League title.

This afternoon, the Kings lost to the Atlanta Hawks 81-61, knocking them out of the main bracket and into the consolation round, which will be played on Friday. Skal Labissire was the third leading scorer for the Kings, putting up 9 points (3-6), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 3 blocks in 23 minutes, while Willie struggled, putting up only 4 points (2-5), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block in 17 minutes. Who would have guessed Skal would be the stronger of the two in the games in Vegas? 

Skal’s known for his shooting, which is why it was encouraging to see him finish strong in the paint on this play:
