Apparently Willie Cauley-Stein made quite an impact on the Kings last year, because per the team they are now using their third-year option with the center.

Last year Cauley-Stein averaged 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game and was also named all-rookie second team.

Cauley-Stein is now entering his second season, and this means that he can now sign for his third year in Sacramento.

In other NBA Cat news:

Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis are cheering on the Cardinals tonight, representing their new state.

Speaking of Devin and Tyler, both of them will tip off their seasons on Wednesday against the Kings at 10 p.m. EST.

A few more NBA Cats will also tip off on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST when Jamal Murray plays his first NBA game with the Nuggets against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans while Karl Towns and the Timberwolves play the Grizzlies.

God bless you, Haley, for not saying Devin and Tyler kick off their seasons on Wednesday… That’s what Drew and Tyler would have written.

    Stay strong.
