Willie Cauley-Stein scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in his Summer League debut Friday in Las Vegas. In his 19 plus minutes, Cauley-Stein shot 4-for-9 from the field and went 3-for-6 from the free-throw line. He also added two blocked shots and one steal in the Kings 90-68 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
“It was all right,” Cauley-Stein told The Sacramento Bee about his debut. “It didn’t go like how we thought, but we had some good things that came out of it even though we lost.”
Cauley-Stein also commented on why his team struggled.
“Right now it’s our first time playing together, you don’t got that trust yet,” he said. “As the next two games go by, you’re going to keep on seeing that trust. We’re going to have more blocks. We’re going to keep dudes out of the paint.”

I love the fact that the Kings call Willie ‘Trill’.
After spending last season overseas, DeAndre Liggins was given the opportunity to play with the Kings this summer. Liggins scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds, two assists and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in his start.
