Who can coach DeMarcus Cousins?

SI Now discuss which coaches would be the best fit to coach DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings. NBA beat writer Ben Golliver breaks down the potential coaches that can succeed in Sacramento after so many failures.

“I think the main characteristics I would be looking for is obviously a communication ability with Cousins. I think that would lead me down the path to a former player,” Golliver said.

Golliver names former Houston Rockets’ head coach Kevin McHale and former Portland Trail Blazers’ head coach Nate McMillan as two coaches that would fit in Sacramento with Cousins.

I love DeMarcus but he has to grow up too.

Yeah, unfortunately he has shown himself to be an absolute knucklehead, in a dysfunctional organization. Not a job many of the league’s best coaches would be willing to entertain. It will again be a rookie coach or a failed former coach.

Shaping a team around one player’s needs never leads to success.

Who in their right mind would want to deal with two knuckleheads – Cousins and Rondo?
