Wenyen Gabriel works out with Los Angeles Lakers

@Lakers

Wenyen Gabriel worked out with the Los Angeles Lakers today.

During the workout, Gabriel went the through the “Lakers Mentality Drill.” This drill involves players running up and down the court, shooting three-pointers at either end for 90 seconds.

Gabriel recorded a score of 28 points, tying a Lakers workout record.

Gabriel outscored Duke’s Grayson Allen who scored 21 in May. LiAngelo Ball scored 15.

Is there a possibility Gabriel joins Julius Randle in LA? I would love that.

      Well man, that is a bad error. Come on….. if I am writing for a popular site, I would pay attention to details. Further, how can you not know the spelling?

    I just came to check out the comment section over the misspelled “Las”. I see they spell checker police who NEVER made a mistake in their lives are out in full force. LOL

      It’s not about never making a mistake, it’s about taking respect in what you do, if you’re a professional journalist/writer you’d expect there to be no mistakes. This site is riddled with spelling errors like this from basically everyone that isn’t Drew or Tyler, now TJ and Aaron. But I guess you just pay everyone on the back and say good try kiddo, give a participation trophy and smile.

      We don’t write professionally for an actual site. She does. Nick does. My 8 year old can spell Los Angeles. And it wasn’t a mistake, she did it twice, which by the power of deduction one can assume that’s how she thinks it is spelled.

    Kindsey, please correct “Las” to “Los.” You did it in the title and the opening paragraph so I realize it’s not a typo– you really do not know the correct spelling. This type of error is beyond baffling to me. I mean, how many times have you seen Los Angeles written?

    How does one score 28 points in a 3-point shooting drill?

      Maybe 8 3 pointers, plus 2 made shots where his foot was on the line? I mean, LiAngelo had 14 on the other court.

    Why don’t they just FIX it?! It’s not like Dewey Defeats Truman, a headline u can never get back, u can just edit it… c’mon KSR. But good for WG, maybe he’ll get that developmental league contract and a signing bonus. Thomas Jefferson said “90% of success is luck and the harder I work, the luckier I am.” Keep working young man.

    It’s funny how ThatCat is critiquing the spelling but makes a mistake too. I would guess it was pat on the back not pay on the back. Lol

      You’re right, I did. If I could correct it, I would. I’m also not a professional journalist, am I?
