We now know what number Anthony Davis will wear for the Lakers

Three-Goggles are back in a big way in LA.

When Anthony Davis was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James agreed to give the Unibrow his coveted No. 23. We learned yesterday that Nike vetoed that decision. Simply put, they already printed too many LeBron James 23-jerseys.

Instead of rocking 23, the Unibrow chopped off the two to wear No. 3 for the Lakers this season. The last time Davis rocked No. 3, he was in elementary school.

Davis has officially put Chris Paul, Allen Iverson and Dwyane Wade on notice.

I saw this on Reddit but he’s missing a golden opportunity to have his number as 80, which sounds like AD. AD80. He would also be the only player to have had 80 and could make it his own. But I guess AD3 also rolls off the tongue

Unfortunately 80 is not a legal number. No numbers that contain a digit over 6 is allowed. Refs can hand signal digits over 5

In the NBA you can be any number from 0-99.

Well then I’ll consider myself corrected. Must be just an NCAA rule.

You are still correct, Based God is incorrect. 0-5 are the traditional numbers. You have to petition the NBA to get any number above that.

Yeah Luka Doncic is 77 and had to get permission but it seems pretty easy to do.

Okay, I LOVE AD, and I love UK more than anyone. Many around here would say I’m one of the biggest users of the blue tinted shades, but come on, AI and D Wade on notice? Give me a break. You can argue about the CP3 thing, but I do t think anyone that watches basketball even casually is ready to put AD up there with either, especially Iverson.

Why does Nike have any input at all?

Wasn’t he a guard before his growth spurt in high school?
