WATCH: Malik Monk’s double-clutch dunk in Chicago

It has been a shockingly quiet rookie season for Malik Monk in Charlotte, but he made some noise Tuesday night with a late dunk in a close game against the Bulls.

Monk drove baseline and rose up for a double-clutch, two-handed slam to trim the Bulls’ lead to two. It was a pretty awesome finish and you can see it for yourself:

Monk finished with 21 points, including five three-pointers, in 24 minutes.

Did Charlotte fail to pay him?

His situation is different. He’ll be fine.

As good a college player as many of these guys were, when they get to the NBA, a rude reality sets in. NBA players are the best in the world, and they are bigger, stronger, and faster GROWN MEN! Sitting on the bench a lot is the norm.
