The BBN has always loved De’Aaron Fox for what he can do on the basketball court, and now he’s continuing to grow his impact off the court. The former Wildcat recently worked with the Make-A-Wish foundation to spend time with Ryder, a Sacramento Kings fan who has Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Based on the video, posted by the Kings’ twitter account, it looks like the duo had an eventful day of playing basketball, touring the facilities, going shopping and even playing some one-on-one video games.
“For someone to go through what he had to go through, and for all of the people in the world he could have chosen – all of the celebrities and all of the athletes – him picking me out of many people he could have met, that’s definitely great,” Fox said. “It’s a special feeling.”
A few years ago, Ryder was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
One of his wishes was to meet De'Aaron Fox.
Last week, Ryder's wish came true.

“He’s just a super nice guy, and he’s very motivational,” Ryder said. “I love what he does for the community, and how he plays basketball, of course.”
Us too, Ryder. Us too.
