Opening night is always a special celebration to start off a new season. It’s even more special when you’re receiving a diamond-studded ring leading up to tipoff.
After a quick offseason, the 2020-21 NBA season returned to action on Tuesday for Opening Night festivities. In the second game of a doubleheader, the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, including former Wildcat Anthony Davis, received their 2020 NBA Finals rings after they took down the Miami Heat in six games over the summer. Davis was presented with his first Finals ring via a video featuring his family members.
