Last night Kevin Durant downplayed the Brooklyn Nets’ “Big 3” of Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden, three of the best offensive players in history on one $200 million team.
“I think we’re the ‘Big 15’,” Durant said after Brooklyn’s win secured the East’s No. 2 seed Sunday night.

Funny, I think I’ve heard that quote before… hmmm… oh yeah… Julius Randle used it when describing the New York Knicks almost two months ago. Randle and teammate Reggie Bullock were asked about Durant’s rival Big 3 across the East River in Brooklyn, and Randle interjected with his, “We got a Big 15” comment.

We already know Durant heard Randle’s early-April comment because Mr. Burner Account follows everything online, and now he’s using Randle’s line as his own just in time for the playoffs.
Feeling a little threatened by the league’s Most Improved Player and new King of New York, perhaps?
