Ulis and Suns fall to Timberwolves in summer league semifinals

It was an awesome week for Tyler Ulis in the Summer League this week but the Suns just couldn’t make it work to push through to the finals, falling to the Timberwolves 93-83.

This past week was a massive one for Ulis. In yesterday’s match-up against Jamal Murray and the Nuggets, Ulis went 7-19 for 19 points and four assists, including a game winner to send them into the semi-finals.

On Thursday, Ulis dropped 20 and eight assists on Miami and a couple of days before that, he had 16 points, seven assists and five steals.

After this week, Ulis has proven endless haters wrong and shown them that he obviously deserves the guarenteed contract that the Suns gave him. I personally can’t wait to see the success that Ulis has in the NBA.

Catch DeAndre Liggins and the Cavs taking on the Chicago Bulls right now.

Um, any reason you didn’t include his stats for tonight?

    Did he suck?

Not good; 0 for 1st 9, 2-11, ending something like 5-20. Big problem was Tyus Jones blowing by him for lay-ups. But, all in all, a good run through the summer schedule. Until today, he was easily the most exciting player of the summer.
