Tyler Herro is a Bucket in Summer League Debut

Tyler Herro was en fuego on his first night in a Miami Heat uniform.

The rookie shooting guard came out firing in his Summer League debut, knocking down five three-pointers to finish with a game-high 18 points. When the moment to fire from three presented itself, he let it fly.

Herro made 5-of-10 from three-point range and 6-of-15 shots overall. He added four assists and three rebounds to propel the Heat to a 106-79 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Herro also got a little chirping in during his first 25 minutes of action.

Herro and the Heat will be back in action tomorrow night at 11:00 p.m. on NBATV.

Surely his inaugural play would have a positive effect on kids like Green and Boston of the 2020 class. Might even help shoot down the recently published Jay Bilas theory, that where you play in college is not a factor that Puke and others are using against Calipari.
