Three Men Shot at Willie Cauley-Stein’s Sacramento Home

Sacramento police responded to a 9-1-1 call early Friday morning from a home previously occupied by Willie Cauley-Stein.

When police arrived on the scene, three men had suffered gunshot wounds. One was taken to the hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Cauley-Stein, now a Golden State Warrior, was not on the premises at the time of the crime.

The three victims were roommates with the alleged shooter, 25-year-old Trey Devaughn Hallman. He remains armed and at-large.

Luckily, the Warriors confirmed the former Cat was nowhere near his old home in Sacramento Friday morning. His agent informed ABC-10 that Cauley-Stein previously rented the home more than a year ago.

Dude RENTED the home more than a year ago per your article so it did not happen at HIS home.{per your article} Change the damn title, makes WCS look like a criminal.

Um, I think if WCS is still THE owner, then it is HIS home. I own rental property and funny, my tenant never pays property taxes, homeowners insurance, repair bills. All those bills are sent to me, THE owner.

The article says WCS had rented the property a year ago, not owned it.

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong point, is it, Kernel?

Kernel it does not say in the article he owns it. It says it was a former home, previously occupied by WCS and he rented the home a year ago. Hate to rent from you if you see in this article it says he owns it, as you must struggle to READ.

I remember reading a few years ago that he lived in a home previously owned by Eddie Murphy. They should get Axel Foley on the case.

Apparently there is confusion among the national media on who owns the home. All of the National stories say the same thing. He owns the home, then in the stories say he rented it. So it’s not the KSR writers fault, seems the misleading info is from Sacramento.

If its not his home then why is this a story or should any of us care? Which is it. If it is, he has some terrible choices for roommates.

So WCS once lived in a house where people were recently shot. Why would we care?

Read the damn article. Representatives for Golden State Warriors player, Willie Cauley-Stein, say the player used to rent the home but doesn’t own it. However, according to property records, Cauley-Stein is listed as the current owner of the home.

This has absolutely nothing to do with WCS.
