Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, and Team USA handled Karl Towns, Eloy Vargas, and the Dominican Republic pretty easily tonight in New York by a final score of 105-62. Here are the stats for our current and former Cats:

Team USA:

Anthony Davis: 7 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal
DeMarcus Cousins: 2 points, 8 rebounds

Dominican Republic:

Karl Towns: 0 points, 2 rebounds
Eloy Vargas: 2 points, 3 rebounds

Final roster cuts for Team USA could happen as soon as tomorrow. Cousins put in a good effort tonight, and we’ll be crossing our fingers for him.

This does not bode well for Kentucky. How can Cats fans expect to bring home #9 when they can’t even beat the team (twice) that was blown out by Anthony Davis’s team? Not to mention, Demarcus Cousins, who didn’t even make a Final Four at UK (lol!) was also on the team. How many teams did they beat by 43 in their time at UK? Answer: not many. Sources also say Karl Towns is the best player on UK’s current team. Yeah, and how did that turn out for the DR? Get ready for a long season in Lexington.

My team sucks so I try to bring down the greatest program in the history of college basketball every chance I get. I also suck other things…
