Steve Kerr Threw Some Friendly Shade at Anthony Davis Today

Anthony Davis made headlines at the end of the regular season by wearing a ‘That’s All Folks’ shirt in what was probably his last game as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Today, Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr showed up to his pre-game press conference in a ‘Spiritual Gangster’ shirt telling reporters that it was just a “yoga phrase.”

Kerr then took a playful shot at Davis, telling reporters he almost wore his own ‘That’s All Folks’ shirt, but he doesn’t actually pick out his own clothing – just like AD.

Kerr is obviously joking, but it is interesting to see the turn that AD’s image has taken since he requested a trade from the Pelicans a few months back.

With the Pelicans hiring of David Griffin there is certainly a chance that AD could be convinced to stay but I personally would not bet on that. The bottom line is that AD wants to play with other superstars, something that the Pelicans realistically will not be able to acquire any time soon.

My sources say that Davis has irreparably harmed his relationship with the Pelicans and that there’s no way he will stay – regardless of the circumstances…

    1) What adult doesn’t pick out their own clothes? 2) Fan of both but I’m kind of fed up with AD and Kerr. Someone tell the children to grow up.
