Got a chance to see Patrick and Chuck play when Toronto played the Bobcats here in Charlotte. And why the two of them didn’t start is still a mystery as they were two of Torontos’ better players.

Living in Canada means I get to watch Chuck and Patrick play each night and they both are doing good. The announcers can’t stop talking about how Patrick is the reason for the new attitude the team has and even though he isn’t starting, Patricks in the during the crunch time.

My favorite UK player ever. This kid had so much heart, and really encompassed what both the sport, and the university, is all about. #PP4L

P-Pat had to put up with a lot of crap at UK until he got a real coach. Glad to see that he, Jorts, and Miller overcame Billy Clyde and still prosper in the NBA.

Not bad for a guy who had his nose broken in the same game.

Patterson makes a huge play, then sinks the winning basket…..but the camera stays on everyone but him after the game!

I might be biased, but shouldn’t they have been saying over and over, “Former UK great Patterson with the game winning basket!”.

Does anyone remember coach Cal pulling Patterson out from playing under the basket to playing from the wing shooting shots just as this one ? Patterson is an great player however before coach Cal came to Kentucky he was being used in his position wrong as were other players. Kentucky is the gateway to the NBA because of the teacher they have . I think kids wanting to attend college to play basketball should see moments as this where there training pays off with W’s . I said and will say Wiggins made an huge mistake as did some others in the pass few years not going to Kentucky .I know some kids want to shine as stand outs . Should for Example Wiggins have went to this star studed Kentucky team he would have been one of many great players and learned the system as playing for the team . See if he had looked beyond he would have seen the NBA no matter what team is an star loaded of the best from stage 2 college where it takes team work to win.

You’re right. Cal has been trying to do the same for Randle this year. Once Randle moves to the NBA he will have to be able to hit these shots.
