—  Randall Cobb wasn’t the usual Randall Cobb yesterday, catching two passes for 38 yards, with a long of 26.  The Pack still won 27-20 over the San Diego Chargers to remain undefeated.  Hopefully the Bye Week will give Cobb the needed rest to get back to 100%.  Stevie Johnson was also banged up, sitting this week out due to a hamstring injury.

Chris Matthews caught the only ball thrown his way, getting 12 yards in a losing effort to the Carolina Panthers.

—  Jacob Tamme had a solid game against the Saints on Thursday night, reeling in 3 catches for 32 yards, including a 20-yarder.  Unfortunately, the Falcons took an L to the Saints, their first of the season.

—  I heard Winston Guy’s name for the first time this season, and for the wrong reason.  Primarily a Special Teams player for the Colts, he was flagged for a blatant block in the back after a decent punt return.

—  Avery Williamson was also banged up with a hamstring injury and did not play against the Dolphins.  His absence gave Wesley Woodyard the opportunity to shine, finishing with a season high 10 tackles and a sack.

—  Bud Dupree only had one tackle in a Steelers win over the Cardinals.  His former friend at defensive end, Za’Darius Smith, had two tackles for the Ravens in a losing effort to the 49ers.

—  Danny Trevathan was an absolute beast, getting 10 tackles and stuffing the line of scrimmage to help the Broncos secure a win over the Browns.  Peyton Manning’s decline is getting plenty of pub, but credit should be given to Trevathan’s defense for keeping the Broncos undefeated.
