Nerlens Noel sent to the D-League to rehab injury

It’s been a rough season so far for Nerlens Noel. Not only is Noel stuck in the middle of a very crowded frontcourt in Philly, he’s recovering from a groin injury and a minor knee surgery he underwent in late October to repair an inflamed pica in his left knee. This morning, Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated is reporting that Noel has been sent to the 76ers D-League team in Delaware for a rehab assignment. Before you freak out that Nerlens is going to the D-League, Philly did the same thing with Jerryd Bayless to rehab his left wrist earlier this year.

Once he’s healthy, can we get Nerlens a new home, please?

    I was just reading a couple of articles where it sounds like he has requested a trade. One of the rumors is to Chicago.
