Fifteen former Kentucky Wildcats played their way onto the first NBA ‘Cats Weekend Recap of the 2014 calendar year, including four players (Anthony Davis, Brandon Knight, DeMarcus Cousins, and Jodie Meeks) who scored over 20 points in at least one game over the three-day period.
Cousins outshone all performers with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 steals in the Sacramento Kings’ only game of the weekend, though it was not enough to keep his team from losing at home 103-113 to the Charlotte Bobcats. Brandon Knight turned in an exceptional showing of his own on Saturday night with 25 points and 8 assists, though his Milwaukee Bucks fell 100-116 to Archie Goodwin and the Eric Bledsoe-less Phoenix Suns.
The weekend’s game logs for all fifteen ‘Cats are compiled below:
Friday, January 3
Saturday, January 4
Sunday, January 5
