Murray shining in Las Vegas tonight

I hope you took my advice and turned on ESPN 2 to watch The Jamal Murray Show. Murray had 17 points in 17 minutes in the first half and he’s up to 20 now as the game continues. (You should tune in.)

Here’s a little taste of what he’s been doing to the Miami Heat:

The announcers have been raving over Murray’s performance in Vegas and potential in Denver. He’s been a trending topic on Twitter, too.

During an in-game interview on the broadcast, Nuggets GM Tim Connelly said, “He’s a great kid, very hard on himself. I think he was going for a lot of home run plays the first couple of games… I think he’s slowed down a little bit today, getting to his spots — trusted jumpers, he’s really crafty. We’re lucky to have him in our backcourt.”

Murray has one more quarter to show out and then Skal Labissiere, Willie Cauley-Stein and the Kings will wrap up the night in the 10 pm game.
