MKG Helping Out Samaritan’s Feet

When is Kidd-Gilchrist not lending a helping hand? Whether it’s his outstanding defense on the perimeter, or just helping out a local charity, MKG continues to bring joy to his fans. Entering his 3rd year with the Charlotte Hornets, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is prepared to get back to the NBA playoffs. Before the season begins, however, he loves to help out within various communities. This morning, he’s working with Samaritan’s Feet of Charlotte.

Samaritan’s Feet is a global humanitarian organization providing 10 million impoverished children with 10 million pairs of shoes in the US and around the world! MKG joins the organization today in Charlotte, where he not only is donating shoes to children, but washing their feet as well. I hope #BBN will join me today and thank MKG for the time he continues to give to these unfortunate children. I can only imagine the joy he brings to these kids, as he is a true big blue hero! MKG joins the likes of Wall, Cousins, and other former Cats to make national news with their community service efforts. Thank you, guys! You make us proud on and off the court. Go big blue!
