Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returns from injury tonight

Great news for everyone who loves Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (so, everyone): the Charlotte Hornets just announced that MKG will make his season debut tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, the first game he’s played since injuring his shoulder in a preseason game on October 3. He had surgery to repair the torn labrum on October 6.

The injury was expected to keep Kidd-Gilchrist out the entire season, but MKG being MKG, he put in the hard work to come back much sooner than any of us anticipated. This is awesome, awesome news.

If you have NBA League Pass, the game will be on at 10 p.m. tonight. Good luck, MKG.
