Malik Monk officially signs with the Charlotte Hornets

Former Wildcat Malik Monk may be sitting out of the NBA Summer League due to an ankle injury he suffered during pre-draft workouts, but he’s still getting it done off the court.

Tonight, Monk officially signed on the dotted line with the Charlotte Hornets for a contract worth $15.72 million through the 2020-21 NBA season. The former Kentucky sharpshooter will make roughly $2.9 million during his rookie campaign.

Check out the video from Charlotte’s official Twitter account of Monk signing the paperwork:

Time to get buckets, Malik.
