Good news, friends: Malik Monk’s right thumb isn’t fractured after all. The Charlotte Hornets just announced that the injury Monk suffered on Friday night isn’t as bad as originally thought and his status is now day-to-day.

That’s a great thing, because, before getting hurt, Monk was catching fire and Charlotte still has at least two games to play in the Summer League tournament, which begins tomorrow.
