UPDATE: Knox, Kidd-Gilchrist, Monk, Poythress, Gabriel, and Humphries are back in town

kentucky, calipari

It wouldn’t be a big game without some special guests, now, would it?

Beyond the several elite prospects in attendance (namely 2019 five-star forward Keion Brooks Jr.), Kentucky is hosting some very familiar faces this weekend.

With NBA All-Star Weekend underway, former Kentucky players Malik Monk, Alex Poythress, Wenyen Gabriel, and Isaac Humphries are back in town to see their beloved Wildcats take on the No. 1 Tennessee Volunteers.

The Kentucky men’s basketball Twitter account released the following image of the former Cats mingling with the current players and coaches after practice:

———–UPDATE————

Monk, Poythress, Humphries, and Gabriel aren’t the only former Wildcats in attendance.

Former Kentucky stars Kevin Knox and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are also in the house to see the Cats take on the Volunteers.

Here is Knox, back from his appearance in the Rising Stars Challenge last night in Charlotte, NC:

And Kidd-Gilchrist:

We’re in for a treat tonight.
