LeBron James says Anthony Davis is Elite

New Orleans won 119-114 against Cleveland last night, however they had to do it without Davis, who only played seven minutes before complaining about chest pain after a free throw. After the game the Pelicans called the unjury a chest contusion from a collision with another player’s elbow.

Head coach Monty Williams said he watched Davis on the bench as he was ‘wincing as if he couldn’t breathe’ and decided to not put him in the game.

However, before the game, LeBron James spoke up about Davis and had a lot to say about the young player. He are his quotes:

“For him to be as young as he is, he plays above his age and that’s part of the reason he can continue and probably be one of the greats to play this game. He’s been spectacular in every facet of the game this year and whatever you ask of him to do — for this franchise, for this team — I’ve seen him soak up everything. Being around a bunch of veterans on our Olympic team, he was just like a sponge around myself, Kobe (Bryant), CP (Chris Paul), Melo (Carmelo Anthony) and everybody. He was just soaking up all the information he could from (Kevin) Durant and everybody.”

James had much more to say including what he thinks about Davis’ family. You can read the rest here.
