Lakers would trade Russell for Cousins tomorrow

The Lakers love D’Angelo Russell, but the Lakers love DeMarcus Cousins more. The Los Angeles Daily News is reporting L.A. would trade Russell tomorrow if it meant landing Boogie from Sacramento.

You shortcut it at your peril, even if the Lakers were willing to trade their No. 2 pick for Sacramento’s even-higher-maintenance-than-Dwight-Howard DeMarcus Cousins … and would send Russell up there tomorrow if that would do it, a league source told me. [Daily News]

While I’m a fan of the idea of DeMarcus in Laker purple and gold, I’m a bigger fan of DeMarcus and Willie Cauley-Stein playing together in Sacramento. Either situation is great, but let’s give the Boogie-Trill frontcourt a try for a year or two to see how it plays out.

Kings all day.

Is this news. Anyone on the planet would trade an unknown guard for arguably the best center in nba

I’d trade your left nut for a crack at any number of women, but that doesn’t mean it’s actually going to happen.

He is completely unknown in regards to the nba. High school and college success do not always translate to NBA. Therefore he is an unknown. He may end up being an all star…..but cousins is young and probably the best center in the nba…top 3 for sure.

No Joke. A guy who has done what only 7 other players in history have done (with his point average, rebound average and block average). Would be traded for a guy who has done NOTHING in the NBA. Wow, that is a shocker. Tell us something we don’t already know.
