Kevin Knox officially signs with the Knicks

It is officially official: Kevin Knox is a New York Knick. After being drafted ninth by the club last month, the former Cat put ink to paper today and signed a multi-year contract, the details of which were not disclosed.

So far, the sky’s the limit for the Tampa native, who told the NY Post’s Steve Serby he’s got one goal in mind for this season.

“Rookie of the Year,” Knox said. “That’s gonna be on my wall in my room. That’s what I want, that’s what I’m gonna work for. I don’t got it like painted on my wall, it’s just a piece of paper with Rookie of the Year on it, every time I wake up, look at it, just know what I’m going to work for.”

Knox wore No. 5 in Lexington, but he’ll wear No. 20 in New York. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect when he tips off in the Summer League this weekend:
