Kexin Knox sent his alma mater, Tampa Catholic, $10,ooo worth of Puma basketball gear for the next four years.

Knox signed an endorsement deal with Puma in September.

Tampa Catholic was able to buy new uniforms, travel gear and three pairs of shoes for every member of the team. Knox also paid for the Crusaders’ hotel rooms when the team travels to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Prep Invitational at the end of December.

So if a sports apparel rep takes a high school kid out to dinner its a violation, but a shoe company gives a school money that the school can give shoes and swag to players that’s OK?
