Karl Towns defended Tony Parker with a shoe last night

Ready for the most Karl Towns thing you’ll see today? During the Timberwolves’ game vs. the Spurs last night, Andrew Wiggins lost his shoe, and instead of just letting it sit on the court during the rest of the play (someone might trip on it!), Towns picked up the shoe and used it to defend Tony Parker as he ran under the basket:

Here’s another angle because this is awesome:

When he wasn’t defending people with shoes, Towns was throwing down ridiculous dunks:

Towns finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, his 15th double-double of the season. At this rate, he’s the clear frontrunner for Rookie of the Year. Also Brother Keeper of the Year for picking up Wiggins’ shoe, but from Karl, would you expect anything less?

I hate to think like this, because it really serves no purpose, but can you imagine if that guy were still at UK.. I know the same could be said every single year, but man it would be nice to have the big KAT for just one more season.

What would KAT have done if he had to rebound a miss?

What if he had used the shoe to block a shot? Legal?
