Karl Towns Continues to Crush It

Andrew Wiggins will steal the headlines after Minnesota’s 102-93 overtime win over the Bulls, but they couldn’t have done it without a double-double from Karl Towns. Towns helped put the game out of reach with a layup at the 2:00 mark, before setting up Tayshaun Prince with a pick for the dagger.
Tayshaun had a solid game with 8 points and 5 rebounds, but Towns was the real deal. Towns finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.
According to ESPN Stats and Info, he is only the third player in the last 30 seasons with 75 points, 40 rebounds and 15 blocks in his first five career games. The other two – David Robinson and Shaquille O’Neal.
