Things looked grim for the Washington Wizards last night when Bradley Beal fouled out with five minutes left vs. the Toronto Raptors, but John Wall did as John Wall does and took over the game. With the score tied, Wall scored or assisted on 10 of Washington’s last 14 points to push the Wizards past the top-seeded Raptors 106-98 and tie the series at 2-2.

“When Brad went out,” Wall said, “I knew I had to do whatever it took.”

Wall put up 27 points and 14 assists, all while guarding NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan. After missing a good part of the season with a knee injury, Wall asserted himself as the Wizards’ leader, scoring and creating for his teammates in equal measure:

This dunk early on was insane:

I really can’t believe that the Wizards fans were calling for Wall to be traded earlier and it seems like teammates like Gortat are constantly trying to stir up things as well.

The wizards fan base is the worst. They call for John wall’s head every year and then he nails them out. His teammates are a$$holes as well.

Yeah Beal seems to be a jerk too. I wish they would trade him and let the Wizard fans and players really see what the have without him.

All what has been said is true, but Gortat dissing on Wall is the worst. Teams couldn’t unload him fast enough and now Wall makes him look like a player. Beal is jealous he can’t be as good as Wall. Finally, Wall does so much good for the city in spite of them. I hope he moves when he gets a chance.
