John Wall participated in his first full-contact practice on Saturday, seven weeks after undergoing a debridement on his left knee.

There is still no timetable for Wall’s return, but full-contact practice is a good sign.

Head coach Scoot Brooks is optimistic that his point guard will be back soon.

“He’ll be back in no time,” Brooks said.  “As a coach, I like to see him out there … He gives us that edge.”

Bradley Beal described Saturday’s practice as “intense.” Wall was pushing his teammates physically and verbally.

“He’s fiery. He’s competitive. He gets on guys. He cheers guys on,” Brooks said. “You need that.”

The Wizards currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Having Wall back before the playoffs would be very beneficial for Washington’s playoff run.

Sorry to be off target here Kindsey but clicking on ‘comment” on your Matt article about taking on Mitch did not bring up this place to post. I wonder if that was intentional. Maybe you did not welcome comments about Matt in politics.
My wife and I both will vote for Matt in 2020. What Matt has done for BBN makes me eternally loyal. I would rate Matt’s significance and success higher than Cawood Ledford, Claude Sullivan, and Bill Keightley. He created a Heaven for BBN.
Just on politics alone, I would vote for Matt for Senator. I would vote for him just out of allegiance anywhere from dog catcher to President of the United States.
I think Matt is genuinely honest and a good person. I think his down-home, folksy, dorky persona is very appealing for a celebrity. He obviously has excellent intelligence and a lot of common sense. I like his humor and love to hear his opinions on anything. Just because he is a genius at Marketing KSR does not give him political expertise but I would gladly take my chance with someone I could trust.
I would call myself a conservative democrat that was a long time Republican. I am not as political as my wife but still love Obama, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders. I am for the common man and definitely for the poor, sick and the elderly. Whoever Jesus cared about I care about. Unions are good.
I hate Mitch, Paul Ryan, and the Tea Party. Those are religious hypocrites that selfishly seek nothing but their own power and wealth. Matt has a solid moral base though I do not know his religion.
I would have a huge problem if his running took away KSR! Though he does have his critics my wife and I want to let him know he has loyal supporters that like him and trust him!

Great points. I’m with you 100%. Especially the Jesus part. He’d be considered a far left liberal today. It’s hilarious that these awful republicans don’t see it. We are the party of the people. They are the party of hate, money and racism.
