John Wall nearing return from knee surgery

After undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in late January, it appears John Wall is close to returning to action.

Wall is listed as “questionable” for the Wizards game vs. the Pistons tomorrow night, the first sign he is ready to return from a two-month absence. He will travel with the Wizards to Detroit and practice in the shootaround tomorrow morning. The Wizards just posted this pic of him boarding the team plane:

Wall’s expected recovery time was six to eight weeks. Tomorrow is the eight-week mark. During that time, the Wizards have gone 15-11 and Wall has lost 10 to 15 lbs. and sprouted some new dreadlocks.

If Wall doesn’t play tomorrow, he may return for the Wizards’ game vs. the Hornets in D.C. on Saturday or their trip to Chicago to play the Bulls on Easter Sunday. He looks pretty good in this footage from Sunday:

Nah, Wall should just quietly go to upper management of the Wizards and push for Beal to be traded.

Yah he ran his mouth a lil too soon. Talked about how good they were doing after he got hurt. Went 10-3 in those first 13 games Wall missed. 5-8 in last 13. Oops.

Going to the game in DC Saturday. Hope to see him, Monk, and MKG all play.

Man, those guys make those 3-pointers look easy. That’s why they call them pro’s.
