It’s no secret to the BBN that John Wall is good at basketball, but the rest of the country needs to take notice.
Kyrie Irving is currently leading Wall in All-Star votes. Last week Wall said, “It’s a joke.” Because it is. Not just because Kyrie’s injuries have kept him from playing in less than a dozen games, but because Wall is having a fantastic year. John Wall has 18 double-doubles this season. Irving has 18 double-doubles in his career.
Wall is second in the league in assists (behind Rajon Rondo) with 9.9 per game, and ranked fifth in steals at 2.16. Last night’s 24-point 13-assist performance was his eighth game in a row with double-digit assists and his 14th double-double since December 1st (14 double-doubles in 17 games!). He also did this.
It would be a travesty if ignorant fans let Kyrie’s sub-par performance outshine the BBN’s finest. Vote here or Tweet the player’s name with the hashtag #NBAVote. Wall isn’t the only NBA Cat deserving so Tweet early and often, there’s only 16 days left to vote.
