John Wall hits game-winning 3, forces decisive Game 7

(Image via @Wizards)

What a postseason John Wall is having! While he started off struggling in a game 6 the Wizards had to win, he saved his best for the second half. While it looked like the Celtics were going to pull it off with some clutch plays from stars Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, and Al Horford, Wall had other ideas.

The Wizards struggled to even get the ball in bounds on their final possession but Wall came to get it at the last second. The former UK star hit the game-winning three pointer with 3.5 seconds remaining to send the Wizards to a decisive game 7 Monday night in Boston. Wall finished with 26 points and 8 assists.

You might have heard pregame about the Boston Celtics arriving at the arena in all black. Let’s just say the Wizards didn’t like that:

This video just makes me so happy for the former UK star:

Wonder if Harden saw that “will” to get open and that “will” to take the shot. Let’s say it didn’t go in for the sake of my point here.

Harden’s last game was terrible…Rockets aren’t even in the game when he plays like that.

    • I didn’t see that game (don’t really get into NBA), but “Screamin’ A” Smith had an interesting take. He said that when Harden’s shot was blocked by Manu at the end the other night that he had played so many minutes that he didn’t get his usual lift off the floor. If true, maybe he was still gassed in the next game.

John Wall is the man, and he cares so much about winning and his team, and he truly deserves respect.

Pumped for Wall. That said, the Cavs can show up in hot pink and destroy either one of these teams

Pacers lost 4 games combined 16 pts. All games were somewhat close. I think Celtics are better match up with Cavs, but would love to se Wall go head to head with Bron Bron. Either way, its gonna be Cavs and Warriors… Again. I wish the NCAA tourny had best of series.
