John Wall believes Washington has the best backcourt in the NBA

More from the Association this morning:

The Washington Wizards have the best backcourt in the NBA, according to one John Wall. When leaving the Wizards facility yesterday for the final time this season, the former Cat was asked if he sees a better backcourt in basketball. “No, not in my opinion,” he told CSN Washington.

Wall gave credit to the Golden State backcourt for being better shooters, but said he and Bradley Beal do everything else better. “We play better D, attack the paint. I think we do everything better, except for shooting,” Wall said. He also admitted his shooting is what holds the Wizards duo back in that category.

I don’t know about being the best backcourt in the league, but there’s no doubt the Wizards guards have the best nickname in the league. House of Guards? That’s money.

Why in the heck are all UK fans always so paranoid that a Louisville fan is right around the corner all the time? Are you always really so fearful of that better, OLDER program? And for the record… It really is soooo very cute that UK fans call Louisville little brother… Considering the fact that by every fact and statistic, UK is technically the little brother in this state. Sounds like an inferiority complex if I’ve ever seen one.
    UL founded in 1798
    UK founded in 1865
UL has the most profitable college sports franchise in the country according to Forbes and the most loyal fan base according to Emory sports marketing analytical studies. Not to mention they are a hot commodity right now entering the best conference in the nation and signing the 3rd largest sports attire deal in the entire nation. All of this on top of their rich history as a university and their recent SURGE of success in ALL sports.
Get a clue…. And for the record, yes I am a fan of all schools in our great state. I just like to make sure facts are straight…

Half of UK’s championships were won back in the 50′s when:
    1) African americans werent even allowed to play
    2) VERY few schools took basketball seriously as a sport
    3) The NIT was actually the Premier championship then… So to brag about winning the NCAA way back when is literally like claiming second best.

    UK= Laughing stock

      1. So should titles in all sports not matter before some arbitrary date that the RealDeal sets? Maybe we should purge all the record books in all sports, or trash all the Olympic medals before X date specified my his turdliness the RealDeal.

      2. UK is the only school in HISTORY to win multiple NIT and NCAA titles. More wins than any other program, blah blah. UofL fans are the kings of selective stats. These matter, these don’t. Rick didn’t mean it when he impregnated Sypher, blah blah.

      3. You are a turd. A big ole’ stinkin turd.

      4. Why are you trollin’ so hard?

      5. Last, sure it is a travesty that this country has a long history of racism and a myriad of civil rights issues; however, what does that have to do with basketball championships?

      Louisville fans subliminal conscience:

“My basketball team was completely irrelevant during the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s; therefore basketball as a whole was also irrelevant during those times. Basketball only started to matter in 1980.”

At least he knows he’s kind of holding them back. His lack of a shot is hindering his game, and at times, has hurt the Wizards as an offensive team. On nights when JW’s shot is off it’s too easy to just play off of him and essentially play Wash 5 on 4 on that end of the floor. Having said that, he’s not far from being correct, though I’d still give the edge to Curry/Thompson and Parker/Green.

So they think their backcourt is better than Peyton Siva and Kyle Singler? LOL. Good try John Wall.
