Jodie Meeks will graduate this weekend; we’ll hear from him Thursday

CoachCal.com

Jodie Meeks is scheduled to meet with the media this Thursday in Lexington, a few days before he will receive his diploma from the University of Kentucky. Meeks made a promise to complete his degree after leaving school as a junior, and he has followed through with that promise.

Jay Bilas joked that Meeks graduating from Kentucky further tarnishes UK’s reputation as a basketball school.

Thursday’s press conference will be streamed online at 1:00.

With his scoring and three point record his graduation should secure him a retired jersey in the future.

Particularly if he keeps putting up numbers in the NBA like he is this year.

Bilas can be counted on to be fair and unbiased. (I theenk!)
