With the NBA trade deadline coming up on Thursday, a former Wildcat is on the move. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Jarred Vanderbilt has been traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he will join Karl Towns. The trade is part of a four-team, multi-player deal between the Nuggets, the Timberwolves, the Houston Rockets, and the Atlanta Hawks.
So far this season, Vanderbilt has played in eight games for the Nuggets, averaging 1.0 points and 0.6 rebounds in 4.3 minutes. He’s spent the majority of the season with the Windy City Bulls in the G-League, averaging 14.2 points and 8.5 rebounds in 25.7 minutes.
