Jamal Murray abusing Damion Lee and telling him about it

Jamal Murray and Damion Lee, formerly of Louisville “I Got Your Back” fame, went at each other’s throats in the fourth quarter of tonight’s summer league game out in Las Vegas. One of the announcers shouted, “There’s a Kentucky Civil War going on right now!”

The game became a one-on-one battle between the former rivals for a couple of trips down the floor, and Murray got the best of Lee in the head-to-head, although Lee’s team won the game.

Murray finished with 29 points to lead all scorers, while putting Lee on all fours with a spin move:

Murray let Lee know he couldn’t be stopped, too.

Lee will tell his grandkids about this one day.

Ok SO…Murray is better than Lee. We know this. Also lee is like 24 and Murray is 18-19. They were the best performers on stage tonight, don’t take away from Lee for going for a steal when he ended up on all fours cause I watched the whole game and Murray just doesn’t play D like that. We should just revel in the fact that our Collective Kentucky boys are killing it !

Lee wasn’t drafted. At all. 😉

Damion Lee may have gone for the steal but don’t pretend he is some sort of defensive specialist. His defense was always a weak link at ul. And, as you pointed out, Murray is 4 1/2 years younger. The gap between the two will only become larger. Call it what you want but I love to see guys carry on the UK-ul rivalry after they get in the league, although ul doesn’t have a lot of representatives.

i have heard that Robic only signs one year contracts instead of the standard two years. Each year he says is his last. I was told that he and Cal don’t really get along, they only have a professional relationship, but they both know what they have is a good thing.
