After being signed to a 10-day contract by the Atlanta Hawks only a few days ago, former Kentucky big man Isaac Humphries has agreed to finish the season with the team from Georgia, according to the team.
Humphries has spent the majority of this season playing for the now New Orleans Pelicans G League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks, averaging 11.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while shooting nearly 54 percent from the field. Humprhies has appeared in 46 G League games, including 34 starts, playing a good chunk of games alongside former Kentucky players, Terrence Jones and Alex Poythress. Poythress has spent the majority of his season as a member of the Hawks, although with a nagging ankle injury.
The seven-foot center was named the NBL (the prominent basketball league in Australia/New Zealand) Rookie of the Year last season after declaring for the NBA Draft a year before that. He spent two seasons at Kentucky before putting his name in the draft.

He is expected to wear No. 8.
If this whole basketball thing doesn’t work out, then he can absolutely sing at my birthday/wedding/funeral.
