While Kentucky Football was getting “tricked” by Tennessee last night, former Kentucky basketball players were “treating” the NBA to a sweet performance.
Former Cats Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe had a spooky-good night leading the Phoenix Suns to a 101-90 win of the Portland Trailblazers. Both guards put up a combined 60 points in the Halloween night matchup with Bledsoe channeling his inner monster and producing an impressive 33 points, six assists, four steals, three rebounds and two blocks.
Knight held his ground with 27 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals against the Trailblazers.
Unfortunately, teammates and fellow Kentucky alums Devin Booker and Archie Goodwin didn’t see any playing time in last night’s game.
Didn’t seem like Devin, who celebrated his 19th birthday Friday, minded spending Halloween night on the bench.
