Another former Cat is on the move. According to Shams Charania, Enes Kanter has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Boston Celtics.
Kanter played for the New York Knicks for half of last season before being waived in February. A week later, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 13.1 points and 8.6 rebounds over 23 games. After being drafted No. 3 by the Utah Jazz in 2011, he’s played for four NBA teams: the Jazz, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Knicks, and the Trail Blazers. Over eight seasons, he’s averaging 11.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
