Enes Kanter is headed to the Boston Celtics

Another former Cat is on the move. According to Shams Charania, Enes Kanter has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Boston Celtics.

Kanter played for the New York Knicks for half of last season before being waived in February. A week later, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 13.1 points and 8.6 rebounds over 23 games. After being drafted No. 3 by the Utah Jazz in 2011, he’s played for four NBA teams: the Jazz, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Knicks, and the Trail Blazers. Over eight seasons, he’s averaging 11.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

While Shams had the specifics, Enes’ manager actually broke the news on Twitter:

This free agency stuff is exciting.
