Enes Kanter and the Thunder got a big win last night

Congratulations to Enes Kanter, Nazr Mohammed, and the Oklahoma City Thunder, who got a big win over San Antonio last night in to even the series in round two of the NBA playoffs. Sure, it was just game two, but the Spurs absolutely manhandled the Thunder in game one, beating them by a whopping 32 points.

Not last night, although it was far from easy. Despite almost giving the game away at the end, the Thunder hung on to win 98-97:

Kanter came off the bench to put up 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks in 19 minutes. Here are two of those points from late in the game:

And Kanter thanking fans after the game:

If you’re looking for some light reading this morning, check out The Wall Street Journal’s article from over the weekend about how Kanter got his teammates hooked on halal food. It’s pretty cool stuff.

I mean, Kanter is Muslim and Halal food is food permissible by the Muslim faith so? If you eat Kosar food is it the first step to becoming Jewish?

Ginobili was fouled on the inbound pass.

that dude is so annoying, all he does is jump into people and then flop trying to get a call … and that’s what he did on the inbounds play as well, you can’t jump over the line like that … the ref didn’t call it, so Waiters did what he had to do and made some room … ref didn’t call that either … refs let a lot go during the playoffs, but if a call had to be made there, I’d say it should have gone against Ginobili
