Devin Booker is the latest NBA Cat to give back to their community

Joining the ranks of former basketball Cats to give back to their surrounding communities, Devin Booker took 42 kids from the Eastlake area to Dick’s for some Holiday shopping.
You may remember Booker’s best friend Jenna Warren, who has Down Syndrome and is a Phoenix Sun fan extraordinaire, who he spent his weekend at the NBA Lottery with last year. Just another kid that former Calipari player has befriended. It’s great to see Booker reaching out and doing well in his newish home.
Also, despite all the bad press surrounding him at the moment, DeMarcus Cousins held his annual “Santa Cuz” outing on Tuesday, taking several kids from the Sacramento area to Target to purchase Holiday gifts.

The outing hasn’t drawn as much press as it has the last couple of years, but it’s still good he’s helping out in the community.

He does a terrific job of providing all of these children with gifts. I liked him the moment we all met him at the Women’s Clinic. I hope he takes control of his temper. He is too good hearted to allow his temper to make him look otherwise. Merry Christmas, Cuz.
