DeMarcus Cousins wanted nothing to do with George Karl last night

Screen Shot 2015-07-14 at 11.15.04 AM

George Karl has spent the last few months bashing DeMmarcus Cousins behind his back and actively trying to get him traded out of Sacramento. So you can imagine why DeMarcus wasn’t too thrilled to see Karl in Las Vegas last night at the NBA Summer League.

Karl approached his star player like nothing was wrong, only to get the cold shoulder in front of everyone.

You know where we stand on this one… #TeamBoogie.

“When the grass is cut, the snakes will show. I gotta thank the little homie Nas for that though.”

Love Boogie…but Boogie is still very immature. This is a business. And he needs to act like the grown professional business person he needs to be….right or wrong. He’s won the war of public perception in the eyes of Sac-town. But by being dismissive and publically critical…I think he begins to look like a petulant child multi-millionaire.

Are we not gonna talk about the best thing in this video? Dude in the Just Fly shirt knows wheres its at. I haven’t seen a shirt that ironic since the BangThis Twins

Some may criticize Boogie for this (and I’m not a Boogie homer as I’ve been hard on him before), but this is an amateur move by Karl. Their relationship is messed up and all Karl has done over the past few days is talk to the media about them needing to get on the same page. Now he approaches him in public? This should be settled behind closed doors FIRST. Then they can show the reconciliation afterward in public. Karl should not have approached him.

totally agree.. you mend the fences behind the scenes first. You don’t put your star on the spot unless you are trying to elicit an over the top negative reaction and then throw Boogie under the bus for it. George just needs to GTFO.

Agreed. Plus, what kind of coach gets hired, then immediately starts trying to get rid of the team’s star player?

It’s always nice to see a grown ass man use such strong words followed by emojis like that. Keep up the good work, Cuz.

False, best part is the way the dude in the “Just Fly” and white t-shirt look at each other after witnessing that awkward interaction.

Also, is that Mike Ehrmantraut in the green “Noche Latina” shirt behind the bench? (Reference:

It was bush league for Karl to even approach him like that. Karl knew how Boogie was likely to react. This was about Karl trying to win some sympathy points. If he was serious about mending their relationship, he would first try to do it in private. Karl has become a bitter old man, just hoping to hang on to a coaching job, for a couple of more years.

Boogie deserves to be pissed in my opinion, but if the Kings do keep Karl, he is going to have to suck it up and mend fences. If he doesn’t his reputation (deserved or not) will make it look like he is at fault, even if he isn’t.

Why is Karl such a revered coach? He’s never won anything and coached the only #1 seed to lose to a #8. There are so many better options out there than him.

I’m not defending George Karl but #1 seeds have lost to #8 seeds several times.

Yes he certainly looked thuggish hosting his Children’s Basketball Clinic where each participant got free eye screenings and eye glasses. Lets also not forget about that time he held an adorable baby and said “koochie coo.” Clearly he’s a menace to society. He must have a criminal history that rivals Al Capone.

Oh he doesn’t? Get over it Louisville fan. He wen’t after Swopshire which is just as well since Little Ricky oversigned recruits and pushed him out the door anyway to make room for more dead weight.

Again I ask…If you HATE KY SO BADLY, WHY ARE YOU TROLLING THIS SITE? Charities, children’s hospitals, children’s basketball clinics, free eye exams/glasses, giving away thousands of dollars worth of shoes to his fans, among other things I’m sure! Yes, he MUST be THE BIGGEST, BADDEST THUG in ALL of pro basketball! Ty Lawson got arrested for DUI yesterday, he didn’t go to ANY KY school, so I say this…he MUST be the DON of La Cosa Nostra! WATCH OUT Boogie might “green light” you! LMFAO! Cal’s right…some of you people ARE CRAZY!!!!! BTW, TY, DeMarcus, I’m only joking, PLEASE DONT KILL ME…SMDH…translation for morons: Shaking My Damned Head…at you idiots, yes, you!

Firing Karl would only add to the dysfunction of that Kings team, plus he is owed at least 10 million on his current contract. I think the fate of this team is more in Rondo’s hands than Karls or Boogies…Rondo has a lot he wants to prove this year and I expect his on court control of the flow of the game will get them the 8th seed in the West this year.
