Rumors of a DeMarcus Cousins trade have been circulating for a long time now. Teams have been interested in the former Cat all season long, but it looks like the big man will be staying in Sacramento.

To finally put the trade rumors to an end, Sacrament Kings general managers Vlade Divac told ESPN.com that the Cousins trade is “off the table.”

You would think the Kings would not want to trade Boogie since they’ve been trying to build a roster around him. However, the Kings have posted a 141-279 record since drafting him in 2010.

The trade season has officially begun, but Dec. 15 officially marks the opening of the NBA “trade season”. Dec. 15 is when most players who signed in the offseason can be traded.

Not only is DeMarcus cousins happy to hear this, so is Rajon Rondo probably. Cousins and Rondo have been playing really well together this season. Cousins wants Rondo back in Sacramento next season so much that he said “he ain’t going nowhere. I’ll kidnap him myself.”

Glad to hear Boogie will be staying in Sacramento with Rondo and Cauley-Stein. Kentucky Kings.
