Congratulations to DeAndre Liggins, who was named the NBA D-League’s Defensive Player of the Year today. Liggins appeared in 42 regular season games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, averaging 14.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.6 steals.
Liggins played one game for the Miami Heat this season, but the team released him to make room for center Justin Hamilton. If DeAndre keeps it up, it’s only a matter of time before he find himself on another NBA roster.
